There are so many times a show has clearly jumped the shark and I wish I could just go back in time and force them to save that episode for the series finale. XD

I MEAN, THIS 11 MINUTE EPISODE IS BETTER THAN ANY 30 MINUTE SPECIAL OR EVEN THE MOVIE FROM THE FIRST 3 SEASONS.  I DON’T KNOW HOW THEY DID IT, BUT THEY MADE AN ABSOLUTELY PERFECT EPISODE.

And I think they used the smoke clip in other commercials for season 2, and I was like “OH WOW, THAT LOOKS AWESOME, TOO BAD THERE’S NO WAY THAT’S ACTUALLY HAPPENING IN AN EPISODE.”  And then I died when it came out because it was more awesome than I could have ever imagined.

I REMEMBER THAT COMMERCIAL.  Oh man, flashbacks, holy crap.

AND YES.  This episode is just SO FREAKING PERFECT, especially just that one last part with the song, this clip.  I can’t even.  Make words.  Because.  Like, I’ve literally been moved to tears a couple of times watching it because it really does feel like a finale, and I wish it was.

(Oddly enough, I always am reminded me of the ending of the movie Selena, about the famous singer who was killed, and the way they ended it, for some reason, my mind always connects the two.  Not really sure why, but both just have the same powerful emotional forcing out of me, even if I get two different types of feelings afterward.)

Ooh, I’m not familiar with that movie but I’m listening to its ending song now. : O

I’m normally indifferent to Spongebob. A lot of the gags throughout have been recycled several times too many and the episode just seems to run along without having much of a plot. But this… This episode was perfect. I still laugh at every joke. It had a clear plotline with a surprise ending that no one expected. And that ending, is just fantastic. This would be a perfect finale episode. They’ve yet to top this and I don’t know that they ever will.
